Clinique Juge

Committees

The various committees

Various committees are present within the establishment and work in close collaboration to improve the quality of care on a daily basis. These include the CLUD (Pain Management Committee), the CLIN (Nosocomial Infection Control Committee) and the CRUQ (Commission for Relations with Users and the Quality of Care).

Institutional Medical Committee - CME

The CME represents the hospital's doctors and practitioners. Its chairman is Dr Abdou SBIHI.

It contributes to the development of a policy of continuous improvement in the quality and safety of care:

  • Comprehensive, coordinated risk management aimed at combating healthcare-associated infections and preventing and treating iatrogenia and other undesirable events linked to the establishment's activities.
  • Vigilance measures designed to guarantee health safety
  • Medicines and sterile medical devices policy
  • Pain management
  • The professional development plan for the establishment's salaried medical, midwifery, odontological and pharmaceutical staff.

It contributes to the development of projects relating to the conditions under which users are received and cared for:

  • The organisation of care pathways
  • Reflection on the ethics associated with care and medical treatment
  • Assessing patient care, including emergency and unscheduled admissions
  • Assessing, where appropriate, the implementation of the palliative care policy.

It validates the annual objectives for implementing the quality and safety of care policy.

Pain Management Committee - CLUD

Acentre for discussion and proposals, working in effective and permanent collaboration with the hospital's management and the CME (Conférence Médicale d'Etablissement), as well as with clinical departments, the pharmacy and administrative and technical departments.

Pain management (CLUD)

Pain assessment and treatment are an integral part of the Clinique Juge's establishment project.

The clinic has :

  • a CLUD (Pain Management Committee),
  • a pain team made up of pain referral nurses, an algology nurse and trained doctors,
  • pain protocols.

The establishment implements the principles of the contract of commitment to the fight against pain instituted by the ministerial circular: n° 2202-166 of April 30, 2002 and adheres to the Réseau Douleur PACA OUEST.

If you or someone close to you is suffering from pain while you are in hospital, you can talk to the nursing team and the doctor treating you. To help us better adapt your treatment, you can tell us "how much it hurts" by noting your pain from 0 to 10.

Our aims:

  • Prevent : Pain caused by certain treatments or examinations: injections, dressings, catheterisation, etc. Pain sometimes associated with everyday activities such as bathing or simply moving around, etc.
  • Treating and relieving pain:
    - Acute post-operative pain is treated by the nursing team with painkillers on a routine basis and on request, depending on each patient's pain.
    - Chronic pain pre-existing hospitalisation is managed with the continuation and reinforcement of usual treatments.

Our resources:

  • Measuring pain is essential for any treatment. Several pain assessment scales are used, depending on the patient.
  • The second tool is communication. If you have any questions, please ask the department manager.
  • The third tool is analgesics, which are used according to the degree of pain.

The Nosocomial Infection Control Committee - CLIN

In collaboration with the Operational Hygiene Team (EOH), it works to prevent and control these infections, by monitoring the patient environment: surfaces, air, water, equipment used and care practices.

Combating nosocomial infections (CLIN)

The Clinique Juge complies with good hospital hygiene and infection prevention practices as part of the quality approach to the care you receive. This activity is coordinated by the Operational Hygiene Team(EOH). The Clinique Juge is a member of the CCLIN Sud-Est regional network (missions set out in the decree of 3 August 1992).

The Users' Committee (CDU)

The Commission des Usagers (CDU) ensures that users' rights are respected and facilitates their procedures. This Commission was created by Decree no. 2016-726 of 1 June 2016.

Its missions:

  • Ensure that users' rights are respected,
  • Help to improve the way in which patients and their families are received,
  • Contribute to improving the quality of care,
  • Facilitate the procedures of users and ensure that they express their grievances to the establishment's managers, that they hear the latter's explanations and are informed of the outcome of their requests.

The regulations and the list of members of the CDU are displayed in the clinic.

There are two user representatives on the CDU: Mr Dominici, the full member, and Mrs Courtois, the deputy member, who is a member of the APF (Association des Paralysés de France). The roles and rights of the user representative are detailed in a Ministry information sheet.

You can contact the CDU by post or by email at: contact@clinique-juge.com

The Ethics Committee

The Clinique Juge Ethics Committee, chaired by Dr BRATICEVIC, is made up of doctors, managers, carers and non-carers from within the clinic, and may call on external resources such as lawyers, sociologists, psychologists or philosophers, depending on the ethical issues raised.

The committee intervenes when a case calls into question the ethical position of professionals with regard to respect for patients' rights.

To contact the ethics committee or submit an ethical question to be raised by a multi-disciplinary body, there is a referral form that you can download by clicking here.

The ethics committee will enable you to reflect on the subject raised and provide opinions or recommendations. It is a consultative forum to help you think about the issue and take a position or make a decision.
