The Radiology Department of the Clinique Juge is equipped with the EOS® modality

The EOS® system is alow-dose stereo-radiographic system for the whole body in the standing or sitting position, based on the principle of two X-ray beams. In just a few seconds, two images of the face and profile are taken simultaneously, without reconstruction or enlargement.

The benefits for the patient are reduced radiation exposure (50% to 85% compared with digital radiography and 95% compared with a CT scan). This benefit is particularly important for children being monitored for scoliosis. The upright examination provides functional imaging to assess overall posture, the relationship between your spine, pelvis and lower limbs, and the adaptive and compensatory mechanisms of the lower limbs.
